BC Film + Media recognizes that the entire film and television industry is experiencing massive change, where digitally based storytelling is on the rise. As such, we are supporting initiatives that promote digital and convergent media projects. By championing emerging modes of storytelling, we aim to position the BC film, television and digital media industry for promising new markets.
The Interactive Fund is a program created in partnership between BC Film + Media and the BC Arts Council. The program is intended to support the production of high quality, original, interactive digital media content owned and controlled by BC companies or individuals.
The funding is a non-recoupable advance of up to $50,000 and does not require matching funding or market support to trigger eligibility. Applications are reviewed through a competitive, subjective process.

The Digital Media Development Envelope is a partnership between BC Film + Media and the BC Arts Council. The program is intended to provide film or television based entertainment companies with an envelope of money to support one or more eligible interactive digital media projects. This envelope should kick start the planning and prototyping necessary to take advantage of new markets and platforms to meet audience expectations in an increasingly digital environment.

The Arts Innovation Fund is a partnership between BC Film + Media and the BC Arts Council. The program is intended to encourage arts and culture organizations to collaborate with digital media creators to engage audiences in new and innovative ways. The applicant must be a BC based not for profit arts or cultural organization that is receiving support through the BC Arts Council.
The funding is a non-recoupable advance of up to $25,000 and does not require matching funding or market support to trigger eligibility. Applications are reviewed through a competitive, subjective process.
